= if, deham = the human life, prathakkratya = separated
from ideas of mind power

= state of consciousness, vishraamya = rested, tishthhsi =
remain, adunaa = now, ev = even, sukhee = happy, shanteh = calms or

affections, bhvishyasi = are. Translation : If the human life is separated from the ideas of mind power and mind power is given the rest in the state of consciousness , even now the human life will become happy, calm and free of the affections. /1.4/. While the mind power of the human life rests in the state of consciousness, to see itself separated from the ideas of mind power, then even now the human life will become happy, calm and free of the affections.
Astavakra says that normal nature of mind power of the human life is to perceive something in objects and become affected. Normal nature of mind power of the human life is to perceive happiness in objects and become unhappy in its search. True state of mind power of the human life which is free from affection, is calm and happy is in state of consciousness. If the human life is separated from the ideas of mind power and mind power is given the rest in the state of consciousness, even now the mind power of human life will become happy, calm and free of the affections. While the mind power of the human life rests in the state of consciousness, to see itself separated from the ideas of mind power, then even now the human life will become happy, calm and free of the affections.
