Transliteration of original Sanskrit Scripture: -
nirodh adeeni karamnhhi jahaati janddhe yadhi manorthaan parlaapaan ch
kartam aapnoeti atatkshnhhaat./18.75/.
Nirodh adeeni =control of mind thoughts etc., karamnhhi= perform karma,
jahaati= gives up, janddhe= person having dull intellect,
yadhi= when, manorthaan=
reason, parlaapaan = dreams ,ch= and,
kartam= to do, aapnoeti
= begins, atatkshnhhaat= insistently .
Translation: When a person having dull
intellect gives up control of mind thoughts etc for performing karma
actions, he begins to do reason and dream insistently. . /18.75/.
Central Communication: When a yoga
disciple not understanding spiritual knowledge [jadhdhe] gives up
techniques of control of mind for performing karma actions, the very
moment he become prey to do desires and fantasy. Wise Guru has
repeatedly said that a spiritual knowledge realized and stabilized yoga
disciple is completely devoid of all techniques of control of mind and
performance of physical actions for body that are aimed to control
unconscious senses. The idea expressed here is that the person under lack
of spiritual knowledge performs all body and mind control actions
unconsciously. So, as soon as, controls actions are stopped, he enters in
thoughts and become prey to desires. The implication is that spiritual
knowledge is not an object to be attained by any technique of control to
body and mind. It is already flowing in conscious mind and its realization
is mere situation of conscious insight vision beneath dull intellect of
outer unaware mind.
Really a spiritual knowledge realized
yoga disciple is devoid of duality caused by dull intellect; consequently
there is no need to control desires and imagination of senses. The inner
self is not a thing to be trained by yoga and meditation practice. It
already possessions spiritual knowledge and it is matter of realization
after becoming free from senses of mind. No sooner a yoga disciple becomes
totally free from veil of dull intellect, he enters spontaneously in
spiritual knowledge that he already possesses. No sooner a yoga disciple
under dull intellect give up yoga practice, the very moment, he begins to
become pray to desires and imagination.
