18.25 Transliteration of original classic
Literature: -
Kartaya dhaehaen karm etham na maya
shudh rupinhh eti chint anurodhee sa kuvarn upi kroti na || /18.25/ Kartaya= done, dhaehaen = by the body,
karm = work, etham = this, na = not, maya = by me, shudh= pure, rupinhh =
form or nature, eti= in this way, chintanurodhee=he
who thinks, sa= that,
kuvarn= performing karma, upi= even,
kroti= acts, na= not Translation: This is done by the body
and not by me [self-conscious]. In this way, he who thinks in pure nature,
even though performing karma, does not act.
/18.25/ Central
Communication: The body does this work and not by me that am pure
self-conscious. He who is having such thoughts that contradict creation of
thoughts is acting even though not acting. Guru Astavakra says that all
actions of body and thoughts of mind with sense of doing emerge under lack
of spiritual knowledge from egoism of being ness that is mere reflection
of false self-conscious .It cause effects in form of seed subliminal
impressions for future life. The body does this work and not by me that am
pure self-conscious, does not cause any effect in egoism of being ness and
are mere exhausting of subliminal karma impressions of nature essence
carried from past lives.
A
self-conscious realized and stabilized yoga disciple who acts in agreement
with such thoughts as ‘this is done by the body and not by me
[self-conscious]’, is not really acting in conscious mind while it looks
that he is acting with body and senses.
