Transliteration of original classic  Literature: -

bhav ayum bhavnaa maatar na kinichit parmaarthat  na asit abhaav sabhaavaanaam bhaava abhaav vibhaa vinaam || /18.4/.

bhav = existence or universe ,ayum= this, bhavnaa= thought,  maatar= mere,  na= not,  kinichit= anything , parmaarthat = in subtlest reality , na = not ,asit = is, abhaav = non-existence, sabhaavaanaam= inherent characteristics, bhaava = universe existence, abhaav = nothing existence ,vibhaa -vinaam=do not lose

Translation: This universe existence is mere thought. In subtlest reality, there is nothing in universe existence.  The universe existence or nothing existence never lose inherent characteristics. /18.4/.

 Communication: Guru Astavakra tells disciple Janaka that inner self is the only real substance in universe existence and all rest in universe that appear real to senses is unreal and mere reflection of thought in unaware mind .It changes with change of reflection of thoughts in unaware mind. However, by profound meditation in conscious mind, all in universe appears nothing.

Guru says that subtle and matter universe has no independent existence from the collective conscious mind of all kinds of life of universe. In reality, it is mere outer extension of formless conscious mind as conscious mind is outer extension of inner self. What individual normal person sees with senses is only projection of his thoughts of unaware mind. The moment he withdraws inner self in conscious mind by profound meditation, he become disconnected from unaware mind and its senses as well projected thoughts of subtle and matter world. So the moment, normal person brings about a change in his state of mind by profound meditation, the universe changes for him.

If sense organs, thoughts and feelings are withdrawn to conscious mind by profound meditation, matter universe and its endless forms that appear real to normal person disappear. Matter objects of universe have no independent existence from matter elements of universe. Matter elements of universe have no independent existence from sense organs and inner formless subtle matter elements of universe. Thoughts and feelings and Subtle matter elements of universe have no independent existence from conscious mind that is one and center for all universe and is also called inner subtlest matter elements of universe. Conscious mind has no independent existence from inner self that is real soul essence of universe. But subtle and matter elements of nature have its independent intrinsic characteristics, cosmic laws and logic knowledge.

The living beings are mere reflection of desires of inner self in form of egoism or ”I”. The universe and its objects are mere reflection of collective desires of living beings of universe. So the real substance or essence is inner self. universe is superimposed reflection of inner self and is not real. Although it appears different to different living beings having different sense organs, thoughts and feelings.

 So this universe is mere collective thought of senses of mind of living being and it is nothing in realty. It is mere creation of senses, although it appear real to normal people with normal senses.  Real existence that is inner self never loses its true characteristics of reality essence in conscious mind as universe of objects created by reflection of inner self in conscious mind never loses its true non-existence and unreality characteristics in conscious mind.
