eva aatman padham| Na = not, door= far away, na= not,
chh = and,sanghkochhaat= limited, lambdham= attained,
eva= surely, aatman=
inner self ,spirit or soul, padham=
inherent characteristics, Translation: Inner self is neither for
away nor limited. Surely inner self that has inherent characteristics
complete, effortless, unchallengeable and spotless is ever attained. /18.5/. Central
Communication: Guru Astavakra tells disciple Janaka that the reality of Inner
self is
not far away or limited that can be attainted. It is devoid of thoughts,
devoid of efforts, devoid of motion and action and devoid of being ness.
It is devoid of thoughts and lack of spiritual knowledge of nature
essence as it is beyond senses of mind. It is effortless, as it has
nothing to exert for and is ever truly tranquil,
calm, serene and quiet.
It is motionless and action less as it is beyond all characteristics of
cosmic laws, subtlest nature essence, subtle nature essence and matter
nature essence of universe. It is beyond sense objects, which are
attainable. It is unimaginable, effortless, unchanging and spotless.
The
inner self is the real self in being ness, so already attained fully that
it cannot be attained more. So it is neither for away, limited and
attainable. It is only one non-dual and to attain anything the
independence existence of duality is required.
