Even the  subtle form of these causes of suffering  can be eliminated  by redirection of the manifestation backwards toward  their  subtle source.
. /10/.

Point of view : tools of the education of meditation 10: -

In their subtle form, these causes of suffering are subdued by seeing where they come from. These causes of suffering are renounced or abandoned consciously  in meditation by reducing to subtle form

These causes of suffering when reduced to subtle forms consciously  in meditation are got rid of or abandon or deserted or renounced through assimilation. The tools of mental distress are subtle. They are not to be confused with their disgusting expansion as likes and dislikes, good or bad habits, vanity and such other personality traits. Resolving each in its own cause can dispel these subtle tools of distress. Confronting each of them with its true opposite can also dispel them. The five causes of causes of suffering, which arise out of the thought of the unconscious mind, are lack of religious education, self-ego, attachment, enmity and fear of death. They are to be reduced into subtle form by meditation tools and then get rid through assimilation. These subtle tools of mental distress are to be made subtle and then dispelled consciously.

It is fruitless to renounce or eliminate pain, unease and sorrows from the unconscious mind without first renouncing or eliminating their seed or their subtle form of thoughts from the conscious and unconscious mind by meditation or meditation tools. On the elimination and renunciation of their matter forms from the unconscious mind, they, however, neither get renounced nor eliminated. They remain alive in a subtle form and in the form of a seed in mind. They reappear at the opportune time. They get eliminated or renounced fully and completely only when they’re subtle condition or thought, their seed like condition and their invisible condition get renounced and eliminated from the interior conscious mind.

Causes of suffering in form of thoughts keep on hibernating in the depth of the conscious mind. It is when subtle form is got rid of through assimilation that they forsake the mind and the mind gets rid of them. Eradicating them from the mind necessitates that their true opposite conditions are made to appear in the conscious mind. It also necessitates that respective confrontation takes place of their opposites in the conscious mind. It is then that these impediments, these causes of suffering, these afflictions and these distress-provoking thoughts are got rid of from the depth of the conscious mind.

It is on the attainment of the education of meditation tools of their opposite and confronting conditions that the education of the five causes of distress that are lack of religious education, self-ego, attachment, enmity and fear of death, gets attained. The education of the five causes of distress and the education of their opposites is to be consciously attained while remaining in a state of self-conscious. The education is to be attained in its subtlest state of conscious mind.

Patanjali says that the causes of distress provoking thoughts and the education of lack of religious education are not obtained by renunciation of argumentative thoughts. Lack of religious education has four states or conditions. They are dormant, attenuated, intercepted and operative. Attaining education about their four opposite and confronting states attains education of lack of religious education. Education of lack of religious education is attained by education of the subtle and manifested forms of the four states of lack of religious education.

It is attained by the education of the lack of religious education of the subtle thoughts of the conscious mind, which embody the past lingering subliminal karma impressions. The renunciation of subtle lack of religious education is possible through the attainment of subtle education. Descending into the conscious mind and entering into seeded religious union attain it. Having awareness of the opposite and confronting states of the subtle lack of religious education attains it.

lack of religious education is the root cause of all the five cause of suffering. Attaining seeded religious union can only destroy it. Seeded religious union falls within the realm of preparatory yogic discipline. The non-preparatory yogic discipline is possible after perfection of the preparatory yogic discipline, which entails undergoing concentration, meditation, and the recitation of the God’s name by obeying his command during the state of seeded religious union. It is due to lack of religious education that the presence of non-preparatory yogic discipline is felt during seeded religious union. Its presence is felt in a weak form.

As the religious meditation with self-conscious precedes and progresses, its presence becomes more and more subtle. It appears as if lack of religious education has got destroyed. The fact is that lack of religious education continues to keep itself embedded in a subtle and dormant form in conscious mind. It remains hibernating and very much alive though in a seed like form. Education of the subtle seed like form of lack of religious education and education of the opposite and confronting state is attained during seeded religious meditation (Samadhi). Such education gets automatically attained. It is on the attainment of this education during seeded religious meditation that lack of religious education gets destroyed automatically from the interior core of conscious mind.
