The preparatory meditation test of internal discipline entails keeping purity in mind, nurturing contentment, undergoing self- discipline, undertaking the study of true self in conscious mind and accepting the defeat of one’s egoism by surrendering to the interior gasoline of God along with surrender of self-sense to the supreme God. The meditation test says that the action that is

meditation. It is with care and caution and with the help of the path of
knowledge and by recitation of interior gasoline of God’s name that the path of
devotion is to be crossed over. The preparatory internal discipline are to be
undertaken with the help of all the paths. It is to be undertaken by crossing
beyond all religious barriers and feelings of communalism. The preparatory
internal discipline are to be consciously thought without any better affection

preparatory meditation test, which is to be practiced, is to be practiced
according to one’s natural bent of mind and inclination. Priority wise the meditation test of
internal discipline is to be commenced with the practice of self-discipline
which is to be followed by meditation and finally by focusing one’s
concentration on interior gasoline of God. If an disciple’s inclination and
natural bent of mind is towards focusing his concentration on any form of
interior gasoline of God, then the practice of meditation test is to be commenced from there. For an
ordinary person, it is imperative to control egoism. It is only after one
gains control of egoism that one is able to surrender consciously true self to
interior gasoline of God. Surrender to interior gasoline of God brings bliss, serenity,
tranquility, quietness, calmness and happiness. It is then that concentration
quickly descends into the deepest depth of the mind (conscious mind). The meditation test says that before undertaking
self- discipline and meditation and conscious surrender to interior
gasoline of God, it
is imperative that preparation for penance, preparation for purity of thoughts
and preparation for contentment, are realized in conscious mind. All these
preparations are to be consciously made before they are adopted and finally
consciously thought. Effort is also to be made to control egoism during
self-discipline of conscious mind. In order to undertake meditation it is
necessary that purity of thoughts and contentment in thought process of mind
have to be adopted in the first phase. Purity and contentment in thoughts, which
are to be adopted, are to be repeatedly and consciously thought with repeated
efforts. The meditation test is to be undertaken consciously with purity and
contentment in thoughts of mind. In this way, the relationship of a living being
gets purified Vis-ŕ-vis. other human beings and living and non-living beings.

meditation test
are not to be stopped
karma actions that are to be consciously performed in a craving free
state. The disciplines of purity and contentment in thoughts of mind are to be
practiced and perfected in conscious mind. Purity in thoughts which are required to be
inculcated in order to undertake the preparatory discipline of internal
discipline are to be in respect of one’s residence, clothing and exterior part
of the body. Contentment in thoughts that is to be in respect of the internal
part of the body, the senses, the mind and the intellect is required to be
inculcated. The exterior living and the non-living objects are to be enjoyed for
the satisfaction of the essential requirements of the internal self. They are to
be enjoyed in order to lead a simple life. The exterior living and non-living
objects are not to be enjoyed more than necessary. They are also not to be
amassed and hoarded or misused. Whatever enjoyment is to be had is to be had
with gratitude and with thanks giving to nature. These pleasances are to be
enjoyed by effacing one’s egoism. It is essential to keep one’s body,
one’s senses, one’s mind and one’s intellect craving free, vis-ŕ-vis
nature’s living and non-living object, their exterior forms, their gross and
subtle and very subtle essences or realities. It is only then that contentment
can be consciously thought. No affection or enmity is to be felt towards one’s
residence, clothing, food, body, mind, intellect, pleasure or pain being
received from or being given by nature’s essence or reality. The feeling of
enmity is not to be harbored. Anger is not to be nurtured towards any subject or
object or towards any human being, who might be causing pain. Distress is to be
borne with patience and contentment in conscious thoughts. Effort is to be made
to remain happy in the enjoyment of the subjects or objects, which gives
pleasure. One is not to get distressed with the desire to have more pleasures. One is to undertake the practice of
meditation test. One is to become desire free and live in a state of
contentment. One is to have patience. This patience to be practiced is not only
to be external but also it is to be felt in the thoughts of the mind.
Contentment is not a virtue, which can be shown off. It is a scripture of yoga,
which encompasses yogic practice from the first to the eighth limb of meditation
test in conscious thoughts. It is related to self-discipline, internal
discipline, self-conscious and concentration on interior gasoline of God. As the
practice of the discipline of contentment advances, the conscious mind
automatically starts getting disciplined. . The meditation test says that the
edifice of the discipline of yoga depends on the quality of its foundation. As
such, it is essential that a firm foundation of meditation test be dug so that
the edifice of yoga stands on it firmly. For this purpose it is essential to
commence the practice of preparatory meditation test with the inculcation of
the virtues of internal discipline NIYAMA . A firm foundation of these
essential disciplines is to be laid before the commencement of the meditation
tests. In the practice of disciplining of self-discipline and internal
discipline, it is not necessary to make an entry into the body or mind. These
two disciplines do not necessitate the self-discipline and nullification of
thoughts. The disciplining and practice of these two meditation tests result in
turning away the face of the disciple from meditation or where-ever it may be or
from nature’s essence or reality and turning it on to the self-conscious of
soul’s essence or reality. These disciplines help the disciple to focus his
concentration on the self-conscious of soul’s essence . On line Free Complete! Icons of God | Images Human Body | Samadhi Yoga | Meditation Technique | Sikh Religion | Punjabi Spiritual Songs | Astavakta Gita | Kaivala Yoga | Vibhuti Yoga |
