Point of view : tools of the
education of meditation 4: - Lack of religious
wisdom is
the source of all suffering of human being. These sources may
lie latent , thin or hidden or activated. The sources of lack
of religious wisdom at times are latent, at times thin, at times
hidden and at times activated. The realm of lack of religious wisdom is the breeding ground of all the sources of
suffering
provoking thoughts in mind . Lack of religious wisdom is caused by
self-ego, affection to some objects, enmity to some objects and fear of death. The state of lack of
religious wisdom is of four types. It is
latent or thin or hidden or
activated. It is due to lack of religious wisdom that
self-ego, affection, hate and fear of death, which are the four states of
apprehensive suffering, make their appearance in the unconscious state of mind. So long there is lack of
religious wisdom, so long there is unconscious state of mind and so long there
is longing in the mind, suffering provoking thoughts that are caused by
self-ego, attachment, aversion and love for physical body will remain
vibrantly alive. With the elimination of lack of religious wisdom,
the unconscious mind also gets eliminated. The suffering provoking thoughts
of the mind also get automatically get eliminated or one can say that by
eliminating suffering provoking thoughts, the unconscious mind comes to a
stand still or it reaches the state of elimination. This means that the unconscious
mind attains a state in which there is total void in it. It is only
on reaching this state that entry into seeded religious unification (Samadhi)
takes place. The religious wisdom of lack of religious wisdom gets
realized during seeded
religious unification. lack of religious wisdom
as such cannot be suppressed. It is by entering into the realm of
religious wisdom of conscious mind that it itself eliminates lack
of religious wisdom. In fact, lack of religious wisdom does not
get eliminated. It merely changes its form and state. This is because lack
of religious wisdom is an inseparable exterior part of true religious
wisdom of conscious mind that become operative only in exterior layer of
mind that is called conscious mind. Patanjali says
that lack of religious wisdom has four states. They are sleepy, weak,
intercepted or operative. The field of lack of religious wisdom, which is
described in the aforementioned apprehensive suffering, also has the same
four states. When apprehensive suffering are not operative, they take on a
latent form and are in the form of deception. When they are in the form of
deception, these apprehensive suffering remain un-manifested. They remain
inactive and keep hibernating state in the interior core of conscious
mind.
This is known as a latent
state of lack of religious wisdom. When apprehensive suffering are
consciously and carefully undergone, they are made latent in a state of
consciousness during religious unification .
It is then that suffering are treated as pleasures and are undergone as
such. This is the thin or delicate or slender state of lack
of religious wisdom. In this state, lack of religious wisdom rests
in the interior core of conscious mind . When
apprehensive suffering gets suppressed on account of some other greater
apprehensive suffering and is not experienced because of the dominating
appearance of another apprehensive suffering, lack of religious wisdom
reaches the third intercepted state. In this state, lack of religious
wisdom rests in the interior core mind. However it does not appear in the
thought . When apprehensive suffering appear in
its full form it does become unbearable. In addition to the complete
thought of the mind, it appears in the body and is felt in the senses and the body. It
accelerates the speed of breath. It creates fear of death, affection to
pleasure objects and aversion to
suffering giving objects in unconscious
mind. It creates various types of diseases in the body. This is the fourth
state body. It creates impurities, guilt and restlessness in the
unconscious mind and
suffering in the sense organs of body and in known as the actively spread out state of lack of religious
wisdom. On line Free Complete! Icons of God | Images Human Body | Samadhi Yoga | Meditation Technique | Sikh Religion | Punjabi Spiritual Songs | Astavakta Gita | Kaivala Yoga | Vibhuti Yoga |
