Original Yoga thesis in Sanskrit:-

Transliteration of original Yoga thesis : -
Anubhuta visaya asampramosah smrtih. /11/  

Anubhuta  =  which has been  experienced or known,  visaya = object or things,  asampramosah  = return  memory of old thought  , smrtih = the memory of old thought of the hidden impression.


Translation  of original yoga thesis: -
.
The memory of old thought of the hidden impression is return  memory of old thought of objects which has been  experienced or known./11/ .
Insight vision on original yoga thesis 11: - 

 Memory  of old thought  of the hidden impression is  return  memory of old thought of  objects which has been experienced or known with words  .Return  memory  of old thought is  caused by reproduction of the previous impression of an object without adding anything from other sources.

  Return  memory  of old thought of the objects which has been  experienced or known constitutes memory thought  of the hidden impression . The repeated flash back of memory which has been  experienced or known, regarding a subject or an object on the screen of the state of mind  is known as memory of old thought of the hidden impression . The return memory  of old thought of a previously experienced or known thought in respect of an object  and its non-dispersal from the state of mind  couple with its constant return constitute memory thought  of the hidden impression . Further, return  memory  of thought about an object experienced or known, which repeatedly return in the state of mind , are return memory of thought of the hidden impression . The memory thought of the hidden impression  also arises when memory of true thought, memory of false thought  ,memory of  verbal thought  and memory of deep thought of the dreams of the sleep  are felt and return , in so far as the past is concerned. In memory thought of the hidden impression , there is no tress passing beyond the object that has been thought. The memory of seeds of deeds which are contained in the human being’s operative system and which formulate the thought pattern of one’s life, memory of the thought pattern of one’s language, memory of the thought pattern of the words that one uses and memory of one’s thought pattern of intellect, all these come in the range of memory thought of the hidden impression  or return  memory of thought of objects which has been experienced or known.

The memory of desires  which arise in the state of mind  of an animate and inanimate being and which formulate ones natural inclinations also constitute memory thought of the hidden impression . The  memory of lingering impressions of past life which continue to hover in the state of mind  or memory of actions of a person’s deeds and ones result-oriented actions are written by the cosmic law. When these impressions are experienced or known in memory of thought and are also felt in thought, they also appear in the form of memory thought of the hidden impression. .

Most people do not know that whatever they have memory of thought about their past life is not true. This is because they keep on gathering false memory of thought   about there past in unconscious state of mind that is outer part of state of mind . The truth is that human being is incapable of having  true memory of old thought and having true thought of the memory of  the experienced or known thought of the past in future. It is impossible to have true memory of old thought of the past and future life in thought. One who comprehends this truth becomes a learned human being, says great sage. At the outset, a human being does not even believe this unique piece of thought. This is because he has spent most of his life in a state of unconsciousness. The first thing is that whatever memory of old thought is experienced or known about the past regarding an object  is not a complete  memory of old thought, even though the state of mind  keeps on repeating a full account of its past  memory of thought and memory old thought of the hidden impression. The state of mind  does this, by return of the memory of old thought rotating in formless state of mind .

Whatever  memory of old thought the state of mind  stores or return in formless state of mind  is not expressed in the form of words or language. This is because in the deeper layers of state of mind , the form of word and the form of language do not enter. The memory of old thought is stored in the state of mind  in the form of formless cosmic sounds currents. As such, when in future, the state of mind  presents the  return memory  of old thought of the hidden impression  spectacles in the form of words or language, the spectacle takes on a distorted form of his previous memory thought of the hidden impression . Meanwhile, many new  memory of old thought occur outside the arena of old thought. They become connected and intermixed with the subject of old memory thought of the hidden impression . Also the state of mind  adds its imaginative thought on the subject to memory thought of the hidden impression . In this way, old memory thought of the hidden impression  occur and which constitute memory thought of the hidden impression , are, in fact a distorted version of true memory of thought. They are conglomeration of the past and the future  memory of thought. Hence considering, memory old thought of the hidden impression  as true memory of old thought experienced or known is mere blind faith of most of human being.

Human being’s natural inclination is not focused on the present memory of  old thought. It keeps on rotating, sometimes remembering the past and sometimes daydreaming about the future memory of thought. Return of the old memory thought and verbal thought of conceived idea  of future or their conglomerating does not reflect the truth memory of  old thought and hence cannot constitute true memory of thought. Envelop by memory of doubt, memory of delusion and memory of faith, true memory of old thought experienced or known appears as false memory of old thought   in unconscious state of mind. Most of human being unconsciously accepts false  old memory of thought  as true memory of thought. He is like a thirsty traveler in the desert who takes mirage for water. The result is that he gets sorrow coated with happiness.

 False memory of thought not only brings misery, but also brings restlessness and anxiety in its wake. . The continuous and unconscious repetition of innumerable  memory of thought by most of human being reinforces the human being’s false appearance, hypocrisy and deceit and duplicity. These false colors keep on changing their hues.

So long a human being does not attain spiritual memory of thought about these  old thought and does not carefully analyze each memory of thought accordingly, he will continue to think and it is impossible for him to come out of the shackles of these old memory of thought. He will become habitual to having memory of thought return in his state of mind . He will remain chained to them.  Great sage says that in meditation and yoga, thought of state of mind  have to be stopped. These memory of thought, however, cannot be stopped by force. He says that before stopping the flow of old memory of thought, a disciple should acquire complete thought about them. 

 Memory of thought, whether good or bad, are to be accepted and experienced or known. The memory of old of thought thus obtained is to be consciously purified. First of all, various types of thought are to be separated, segregated and then experienced or known. Thereafter, impure memory of old thought are to be purified. The truth about those thought, which appear to be false memory of old thought  , and the truth about those thought, which pertain to the inculcation of blind faith and delusion, is to be realized.

A person must become conscious of the memory of old thought , which are responsible for creating falsehood and doubt along with blind faith and delusion in his state of mind . The dense smoke screen that veils the truth about these memory of old thought  is then to be pierced and finally evaporated. The  great sage says that memory of old thought  of state of mind  are like countless waves of the Arabian seas. The state of mind  is the vast ocean of these memory of old thought . There is no end of its depth and its form and the formless shape of its water. This is supreme thought. Before the disciple attains this memory of old thought , he is to acquire thought about the wave like thought. 

It is not possible to forcibly wipe out these innumerable waves of memory of old thought , which keep on undulating on the surface of the vast ocean of the state of mind . The waves of memory of old thought  have neither a beginning nor an end. The moment one wavelength of memory of old thought  is wiped out; many more wavelengths of memory of old thought  are produced to take its place. The only method of eradicating the wavelengths of these memory of old thought  is to acquire true thought as to how and why the waves are produced in the ocean. One is also to acquire the thought as to how does the wind create waves on the surface of the ocean and what is the technique to stop the wind from creating these waves. How does one acquire the thought of state of mind  and its thought so that one may be able to stop the state of mind ’s inclination to produce variegated thought is a moot question.

The Great Sage says that memory of old thought  of state of mind  can be wiped out with the help of the thought of memory of old thought  and not with any material object or power. Hence in meditation and yoga’s ladder of ascension, a disciple’s first website page  is that he should give up his urge to acquire any memory of old thought  other than the thought of present. The first and foremost priority is to acquire the thought of memory of old thought . He is then to use the acquired thought of memory of old thought  through the pattern of his thought. When he uses this thought on the pattern of his thought, he is likely to experience their increase and decrease. He is also likely to experience their falsehood or their truthfulness. He is to use his acquired thought of memory of old thought  for converting his various thought into true thought  of the experience and finally he is to feel and experience the true thought  so meticulously acquired.
