Tat param purusa khyateh guna vatitrsnyam/16/.

Tat  = this , param  =  supreme , purusa  = conscience of the life,  khyateh  = clearly see , guna = original qualities of nature , vatitrsnyam = without desire  or affection.


Translation of original yoga thesis: -

When this  supreme  conscience of the life  clearly see the  original qualities of nature, it is without desire  and affection. /16/.


Insight vision on original yoga thesis 16: -

When this  supreme  conscience of the life  clearly  reach the state of no desire  and affection , it see the original qualities of nature. No desire and affection. generated towards  three original qualities of nature by supreme  conscience of the life that is luminosity (Sat Vic), motion and actions (Rajas), and inertia (Tam sic) is superior to any lack of desire  generated with practice .

 The supreme conscience of the life  and desire  or affection to the matter world is attained when the disciple makes insight vision beyond conscience of the life  by regular and sustained yoga practice . Really when supreme  conscience of the life appears, thirst for  desire and affection  to worldly objects disappears up to its seed form. When supreme  conscience of the life dawns breeds indifference towards desire  or affection. The thirst for desire  or affection gets quenched when one attains  supreme  conscience of the life . When wisdom from interior supreme conscience of the life descends on a human being, he attains freedom from the shackles of desire and affection of matter world.

Thereafter enters a state of supreme of no desire and affection. The original qualities of nature and merits of a person are created by the element of  no desire and affection of interior supreme conscience of the life. It is the supreme conscience of the life who bestows wisdom of spiritual knowledge by his grace and on those who are chosen by him. When not to be under the effect of desire and affection develops to its supreme degree and reaches the zenith point of its growth in disciple, it converts itself to the disciple into the supreme and not to be under the effect of attraction  or having no desire and affection to matter world or its wealth, position, honors or its cosmic powers.

All the three original qualities of nature that are luminosity, motion and actions, inactivity are present in the man’s body, which is cosmic instrument. When a man is free from the desire of his body, it leads into supreme seedless and not to be under the effect of attraction . This means that even the seeds of desire and affection have been erased from his conscience of the life . It is however, possible to attain this state of not to be under the effect of attraction  only after one attains conscience. Prior to this, not to be under the effect of attraction  towards any material subject or object is felt and experienced in the form of conquer of senses.

When the senses get conquered, thoughts about any subject or object get freed from their desire and affection . This is possible by human being if sustained and repeated efforts are undertaken to achieve this goal. Even after repeated efforts, conquer of senses; further not to be under the effect of attraction , one may not become totally free of one’s desire and affection . This is because the seeds of desire and affection  are sown in the conscience of the life  where they remain alive and intact. In due course of time, these seeds take on the full form of a grown up tree of desire and affection. The sprouted seeds possess all the possibility of manifesting themselves fully.

It is only when the seed of desire and affection of conscience of the life  is destroyed that one is able to achieve a state of complete conscious non-desire and affection, renunciation or indifference to matter world. This state of non-desire and affection is called the supreme state of not to be under the effect of attraction  or renunciation. A disciple may delude himself that he has destroyed his desire and affection and their seeds through repeated practice and by taking the recourse to not to be under the effect of attraction  . Or he may say that he has satiated his desire and affection and that his desire and affection left him unchained and unbound. Such a thought of a disciple falls in the range of false thought and imaginary thought. 

This is because the disciple merely wants to delude himself that he has cut asunder the chains of desire and affection  with the sword of not to be under the effect of attraction  . As mentioned before it is impossible to attain the state of supreme not to be under the effect of attraction  without first entering into and attaining the state of conscience and  conscience of the life. It is only when an disciple attains conscience that he becomes qualified to attain the state of supreme not to be under the effect of attraction  .

Non-desire and affection is, in fact a weak desire and affection. It is a form of suppressed desire and affection. It is that state wherein desire and affection felt in the conscience of the life , desire and affection felt in one’s thinking process and desire and affection felt in one’s intellect does get destroyed, but its seed remains intact and alive in the deeper original conscience of the life . With the passage of time, the seed flowers and becomes a full-grown tree.  Patanjali says that runaway thoughts of state of mind  can be stopped and even destroyed by repeatedly stopping their flow through constant yoga practice and not to be under the effect of attraction . He further says that even when these thoughts are destroyed the thought of any attachment or any aversion, does not get completely erased from the conscience of life . The manifested form of this state of thought in the conscience of the life , no doubt, does get erased and eliminated, but the seed like desire and affection in the conscience of the life , neither get erased nor eliminated. In due course of time this desire and affection comes again to the forefront and surfaces and manifests itself in one’s state of mind .

Along with the waves of the present result-oriented actions, such a desire and affection gets carried on into the person’s next  life through its Lingering karma impressions made on the result-oriented actions of his present life. Impressions imbibed in the present life are carried on by the conscience of the life  in the person’s life to come. Total desire and affection in the conscience of the life  and in the result-oriented actions of the operative system, which is run by the cosmic law of original qualities of nature, becomes non-desire and affection only when even merits of the cosmic law as adopted by man, become desire and affection-less. Such a state is possible only after the attainment of  conscience of the life in Samadhi and never before it.

After the realization of  conscience of the life in True Samadhi , a disciple does not have to perform any Physical actions. He is only to have glimpses of the insight vision of conscience of the life  and interior beyond. Attainment of  conscience of the life in Samadhi  starts destroying the seeds of result-oriented karma actions of the disciple. It also destroys the growth and sprouting of these seeds. This is because the conscience of the life  starts gaining spiritual knowledge about the cycle of actions and reaction of karma. For this reason, the disciple starts performing actions according to the dictates of his true thought that is feeling and realization. Whatever remains after the performance of these actions and deeds, is the leftover of the cycle of karma actions and reaction of his previous life. The law governing the cycle of actions and reaction is inexorable and inevitable. There is no escape from its day-to-day fall out. There is no escape from its operative system. One has to bear and undergo the consequences of one’s karma actions. Guru Patanjali says that these consequences have to be borne and undergone by disciple either in his present life or in his website next page life. The disciple, who undergoes the result of his past karma actions in the next  life, is called an incorporeal ascetic  perfect disciple

Human being’s body is a cosmic instrument. It is the changing form of original qualities of nature’s four states. When supreme not to be under the effect of attraction arises it arises and grows and develops in his state of mind  and body’s three natural attributes. 

These attributes are the sativa attribute which represents luminosity, tranquility or serenity; the RAJAS attribute which leads to passion and leads to actions and motion and thirdly the TAM SIC attribute which reflects dormancy and inactivity and leads to inertia. Further, supreme  conscience of the life not to be under the effect of attraction   does not only remain confined to the five senses namely; eyes, nose, ears, tongue and skin. It also spreads its tentacles inside the all cells of state of mind  and body of entire human frame. It spreads itself in all directions and in each particle of living being’s astral body. Since   original qualities of nature  has created the cosmic instrument of the living body in a particular fashion, the path of not to be under the effect of attraction  spreads itself in a similar fashion in which the cosmic instrument of the body has been created. 

What are the three prime qualities or attributes of the  original qualities of nature ? Luminosity (sativa), motion and actions (RAJAS) and inertia (Tam sic) are three original qualities of nature. These attributes act as per cosmic laws of original qualities of nature. They are formless. The serenity or tranquility (sativa) attribute resides inside the interior layer of conscience of the life  of a person; the motion and actions attribute (RAJAS) resides in the middle layer of the sub-conscience of the life  of a person while the inertia attribute (Tam sic) resides in the outer layer of state of mind  that is called unconscience of the life  and in body of the person. Inertia (Tam sic) is born out of motion and actions (RAJAS). Motion and actions (RAJAS) is born out of Tranquility and luminosity (sativa). One can say that it is only interior soul and conscience life essence that are the enjoyers of true supreme knowledge. Such knowledge is in the possession of interior soul and conscience life essence. There is only one cosmic law by which God and soul and original qualities of nature are bound together. The sativa attribute is God’s predominating attribute and God’s order.

It represents the cosmic law. Lack of spiritual knowledge is one branch of the sativa original qualities of nature. It is widely spread in conscience of life  . It is a derivative of the rajas attribute. It deals with the original creation of a living being and his physical actions in matter world. Inactivity attribute is another vast branch of rajas attribute. It deals with the motion and actions in original and matter form of the living beings. Original qualities of nature is wrapped around the interior soul essence. Its goal is to serve its own master soul essence. Hence it has adopted the three modes and attributes luminous (sativa), Passionate (RAJAS) and slothful (Tam sic). These modes and attributes and their endless branches are the channels through which a living being enjoys the fruits of his past karma actions. There are also the channels through which he sows the seeds of future karma actions.

How is the original formless material world created? When soul essence and its astral body which carries lingering karma impressions imbibed during its past life experiences, consciously craves for the enjoyment of these experiences, original qualities of nature welcome and starts providing for his enjoyment creation of an embryo in a physical body. Conscience of the life  that is static, formless and core  interior part of original qualities of nature is initial creation by original qualities of nature for entry of interior soul essence in form of  conscience of the life. It resides above the astral body that is  conscience of the life. The body is then endowed with five senses, which appear in a original form of nature essence. This is the first rudimentary form of the creation of a living being. The desire and affection for the enjoyment of sensual pleasures lies in this form from the very beginning. It is here, the Great Sage mentions about the eradication of such a desire and affection.

How are the original formless sensual pleasures created? At the time of pregnancy, the core  state of conscience creates senses of state of mind  from the original elements of nature essence and senses of state of mind  creates the matter body from the materials of earth, water, fire, air and ether. Along with this, five interior organs i.e. the heart, the lung, the brain, the liver and the kidney are also formed by matter of original qualities of nature. Thereafter, other five organs that are two legs, two arms and one head are created by original qualities of nature. It is followed by the creation of five organs of sense viz. the eyes, the ears, the nose, the mouth and the body. With these organs a living body is created in which interior soul essence puts a fragment of him in form of  conscience of the life or self-ego and the body becomes an embodied soul. The living being so created contains in his conscience of the life  the karma lingering impressions of his past life’s experiences. These karma impressions come to the forefront and manifests themselves in their respective forms as and when a living being wants to enjoy and undergo the fruits of his result-oriented past actions. original qualities of nature by thus creating the complete cosmic instrument, prepares the conscience of the life  and then its astral body to enjoy and undergo the consequences of a person’s result-oriented past actions.

In each original and matter particle of cosmic instrument called living beings there is a desire and affection for the enjoyment of result-oriented past karma actions and impressions left over by past life’s experiences. This is an internal issue. The Great Sage Patanjali, who discourses about the satiation of desire and affection, says that the original and matter particles of the cosmic instrument are changing its attributes and forms and as are under motion and actions every moment. He further says that these changing forms, motion and actions of nature should be completely satiated and satisfied. Being an internal matter of conscience of the life  and original qualities of nature, this subject falls within the jurisdiction of cosmic law. It is a subject relating to three attributes of slothfulness, passion and harmony. It is a subject relating to the supreme true knowledge. It is only when the disciple has gained this supreme true knowledge that dispassion and not to be under the effect of attraction  arises. The supreme true knowledge he has referred to lies in the attainment of conscience.

On attainment of conscience, a disciple does not have to perform any physical meditation or  yoga actions. Conscience by itself will lead him to not to be under the effect of attraction  . not to be under the effect of attraction  , detachment and dispassion in Conscious Samadhi that is Yoga music saturates his entire nature.

What are the four states of nature? The contraction and expansion of the vast matter universe has no limit. The vast interior universe itself is formless and round in shape. The one and only true and supreme knowledge and that is the spiritual knowledge of true conscience life essence govern each of its original particles. It is divided in three parts. It is triangular and three faced. The internal part of the triangle is the master. He is the witness. He is interior conscience life essence. The external part is the servant. It is the view. It is original qualities of nature. The middle part is the servant of the internal part and is the master of external part. It is the  conscience of the life of endless living being that is soul essence flowing in endless universe. The conscience life essence part is static forever. It is formless and is a reservoir of energy. The conscience of the life  is also formless and static forever. 

The supreme reservoir of cosmic energy is a complete formless shape from interior conscience life essence to outer original qualities of nature. It is the path, which leads to the insight vision of true nature and conscience life essence. When the individual self-conscious in a living being of endless soul ceases to receive radiance from interior conscience life essence, it merges with interior conscience life essence and becomes a part of conscience life essence. The outer part of original qualities of nature by taking radiance from conscience life essence through the medium of self-conscious of living being of universe changes its own form and shape. Thereafter, it plays its role. The role enacted by it is in accordance with the desire and affection of the embodied soul. It keeps on enacting its role by adopting innumerable forms and shapes. The embodied soul, who is the witness, rejoices on seeing the enjoyment of desire and affection of the astral body of original qualities of nature.

The Great Sage in his discourses speaks about the changing face of original qualities of nature. He divides the changing face of original qualities of nature into four basic attributes. They are original qualities of nature,  five original elements of nature and five matter elements of nature. The first true state of original qualities of nature is felt at a time when the soul is as embodied in its astral body.  In this state, God soul and original qualities of natures are in harmony with each other. They are at the same wavelength. This state is static and formless. There is no performance of any work, motion and actions in the living being in this state. In the state, the embodied soul and its astral body expresses it’s desire and affection in its conscience of the life .

Original qualities of nature, which prepares for the enjoyment of result-oriented actions among living beings, manifests itself in the conscience of the life  in the form of core  creation. In the core  state, there is actions inside the conscience of the life  but no actions in the living body. This is state when living being exists and becomes static in the world of the Dead. original qualities of nature, after creating the cosmic instrument of the body, prepares it through its original elements form to undergo the consequences of its past actions. In the original elements state, the embodied soul enjoys worldly pleasures according its desire and affection. These desire and affection for enjoyment and for actions arise in the man’s conscience of the life  in the form of cosmic waves. They reflect natural disposition of bent of state of mind  and inclinations of individual living being. The Great Sage says that there is control and enslaving sense of attachment in the original elements flowing state of original qualities of nature. He further says that to attain absolute not to be under the effect of attraction  , one has to be absolutely non-attached and dispassionate in all the states of nature. This being a cosmic subject, one gets enlightened on realizing spiritual knowledge contained in the cosmic law in true Samadhi.

 Most people do not realize the true thought about the changing face of the fourth state of original qualities of nature. They keep on practicing non-desire and affection towards material things and living beings. They even stop the enjoyment of matter sensual pleasures in order to enter a non-desire and affection state. They further stop their indulgence in carnal pleasures. They shun all types of actions and take refuge in blissful inaction. They keep on trying to stop undergoing of consequences of their past actions.

Further, they divide their actions into different categories like meritorious actions, non-meritorious actions, sinful actions, pious actions, righteous actions; non-righteous actions, pleasure giving actions and pain giving actions. They also keep on performing some of these actions. When the performance of actions becomes no longer possible, they start feeling distress and torture. By tormenting their body and state of mind , they try to become desire and affection-free in respect of power and worldly position and honors, name and fame, attachment and aversion. They also try to free themselves from undergoing the consequences of their past actions. They give up their outer form.

The Great Sage says that trying to become desire and affection-free in this manner will not bear fruit and is bound to fail. This is because the internal part of the conscience of the life  is never desire and affection-free. He further says that it is not possible to stop undergoing of the consequences of good or bad deeds. The consequences of good or bad deeds can only be get rid of by undergoing their retribution. It is in the hands of the original qualities of nature to make provision for undergoing the consequences of good and bad deeds. They have to be borne in all circumstances by one and all without exception.

How is desire and affection for sin and desire and affection for the enjoyment of fruits of actions of bad deeds, halted? Most people do not have faith in this true knowledge that relinquishment of enjoyment of any specific worldly pleasure, does not amount to not to be under the effect of attraction  . Similarly, renunciation of attachment for any individual or relinquishment of hatred, enmity, aversion and wrath or renunciation of home and hearth and family and taking to a hermit’s life to escape from the clutches of attachment, does not amount to not to be under the effect of attraction  . In the same way, renunciation of power and worldly position and honors, name and fame, business interest and worldly pleasures, does not amount to not to be under the effect of attraction   or detachment or dispassion. Further, renunciation of these matter worldly things does not come within the purview of detachment.

The happiness and pleasures one gets from the enjoyment of worldly pleasures and the delight one gets by consciously performing pleasure-related actions in a state of alertness, has to be enjoyed. The only true restriction is that they should be enjoyed by remaining within the framework of social and legal restraints and obligations and consciously. Worldly happiness is not to be forcibly renounced. The reason is that it is not possible to relinquish pleasure or pain under duress or external compulsion. Renunciation of worldly pleasures is not true dispassion and is not not to be under the effect of attraction  .

The Great Sage Patanjali says that true dispassion and supreme not to be under the effect of attraction   comes to a person after he attains conscience. One starts experiencing supreme not to be under the effect of attraction   when the conscience of the life  starts attaining a thought free state. So long as not to be under the effect of attraction   does not take its hold on one’s thinking process, physical enjoyment of worldly pleasures is not to be given up.

As such desire and affection for enjoyment of sensate pleasures is to be satiated in complete alertness and as long as the conscience of life  does not get ready to start treading on the path of conscience. Really physical enjoyment of worldly pleasures contains no element of evil or sin. Whatever bad, evil or sinful deed gets committed, it gets committed unconsciously in a state of un-aware thoughts. One does not commit a wrong consciously; neither does one commit a sin consciously. One also does not commit an evil deed consciously. Hence a person is to enjoy one’s desire and affections in a state of complete alertness and in a state of complete consciousness. The physical enjoyment of desire and affection is not to be stopped under any circumstances. Stopping the physical enjoyment of one’s desire and affection is not dispassion or not to be under the effect of attraction  .

Why cannot material desire and affection for evil deeds be stopped? The root of any desire and affection lies in the conscience of the life . This root is in each and every living cell of the body. Similarly, the root of each and every living cell is in the conscience of the life . On it is written the plus and minus account of a person’s result oriented past karma actions. The wavelengths of thoughts pertaining to result-oriented actions embody this account. So long as desire and affection continues its stranglehold on the thinking process, it is impossible to stop the physical enjoyment of sensate pleasures in unconscious of the life .

It is also impossible to become desire and affection-free. If a person thinks otherwise, he only deludes himself. He walks in a fool’s paradise. This distorted and unrealistic thinking arises in him because of his false thought and verbal thought. The Guru sage shows how to make the impossible feat possible. He talks about the technique by which a person can stop the desire and affection of his conscience of the life . His is the technique of true spiritual knowledge. It is like a tree, which has innumerable leaves. The leaves are like innumerable desire and affection for the enjoyment of sensual pleasures. No matter how many leaves of the tree get destroyed, new leaves get born before the old one gets destroyed. The Great Sage exhorts the disciple that instead of destroying the leaves, he should destroy the root of the tree of desire and affection which is deep rooted in the conscience of the life . By doing so, the tree of desire and affection will fall by itself.

He further says that the leaves of the tree which represent desire and affection and which are saturated in pleasurable actions are to be destroyed not by plucking them out but by enjoying each desire and affection that each leaf represents. He further says that whatever enjoyment of desire and affection is to be had, should be had, consciously in a state of self-conscious with direct perception and in a state of true thought. As to the falling of the tree of desire and affection, this is bound to take place after a man attains conscience and not before. The enjoyment that the Great Sage calls for and which is to be had by enjoying the sensual pleasures and worldly pleasures to their utmost brim has to be a seedless enjoyment. This is possible when desire and affection are satiated to their last limit and pleasures drunk to their last dregs.

What is the round shape of formless original qualities of nature? The round shape of formless of the cosmos is infinite, fathomless, immeasurable, endless and limitless. It keeps on contracting and expanding. Both its counter actions and expansion are limitless and boundless as well. There are innumerable formless round shapes in the universe and cosmos that are center of endless forms of universe. They are also immeasurable and limitless. On each round shape there are other innumerable, immeasurable and unlimited round shapes. Each round shape contains a true and supreme reality. There is only one true and supreme original qualities of nature that is flowing in all these endless formless and form world of universe.

All these shapes and forms work under and are governed by the same cosmic law. They carry each other’s burden. They sacrifice themselves for each other’s love. Supporting each other, they please and love each other through their enacted plays and pranks. The interior core of each round shape is in a permanent static condition. It is the source of formless energy reservoir. It is conscience life essence like. The outer part of each original and form is in a state of motion. It keeps on changing its shape.  The interior core from which radiance emanates is the embodied soul. The part, from which radiance does not emanate, is a part of conscience life essence. It is lifeless.

There is the original qualities of nature in each round shape. Each original and supreme original qualities of nature has the ability to become a universe by contraction and by expansion. As such the Great Sage says that the human body, which is the cosmic instrument, has innumerable living and non-living original qualities of nature and units of original and matter round shapes in it. The supreme true spiritual knowledge of the creation of the universe lies hidden in these units. If a human being comprehends this knowledge, he will automatically gain the rest of the spiritual knowledge.

This spiritual knowledge is similar to the supreme  conscience of the life. Self-conscious is realized by stopping the flow of thoughts and by uprooting the desire and affection from conscience of the life  by regular and repeated efforts. Before that the flow of thoughts from unconscience of the life  has to be halted consciously and attentively and with full alertness. The whole exercise has to be done in a dedicated and systematic manner by repeated practice and in a spirit of detachment. The desire and affection can get stopped on their own by changing the natural inclinations and bent of state of mind  of the individual. So long as his natural inclination and bent of state of mind  does not imbibe this thought and this thought does not become his true thought, enjoyment of gross desire and affection cannot be given up. On the contrary they are to be physically enjoyed, consciously and with full alertness. True thought of their enjoyment must arise in the conscience of the life  of their enjoyer.

Mithras Persian was the central figure of a cult, centered on bull-sacrifice and also associated with merchants and the protection of warriors, which was popular among Roman soldiers of the later empire. Among the most universal cults of the ancient Armenians was that of Mithras Persian, who was identified on the one hand with the sun, or Helios, on the other, with Apollo and Hermes. Mithras Persian was originally conceived of as a kind of angel, a power of light.Mithras Persian was also known throughout Europe and Asia by the names Mithra, Mitra, Meitros, Mihr, Mehr, and Meher. The veneration of this God began about 4000 years ago in Persia, where it was soon imbedded with Babylonian doctrines.
