Eagerness and intensity in yoga practice can be classified into mild, moderate and intense categories. These three distinct grades of commitment towards effect of thought  and not to be under the effect of attraction of numerous objects and  to reach the goal of attraction to   the interior knowledge of the religious  union with the heart. This detachment and dispassion lead to corresponding results in the rapidity and speed with which these characteristics are achieved in yoga practice. The difference in these grades affects their functioning. This further leads to difference in the speed with which a perfect disciple attains not to be under the effect of attraction  and control on the modifications of his thought. These grades affect the time, which a perfect disciple has to spend in order to achieve not to be under the effect of attraction of numerous objects and  to reach the goal of attraction to   the interior knowledge of the religious  union with the heart.  .

These factors apart, a perfect disciple is bound to get religious knowledge after he enters the seeded the religious  union with the heart  following the perfection of yoga practice by him. The time factor varies in the case of each perfect disciple. Most of perfect disciples may have to take rebirth and attain self-realization in their next  life.

The Great Guru Patanjali says that a perfect disciple engaged in the practice of perfecting his the religious  union with the heart  must keep his faith intact and reinforced in the practice of yoga . He must also keep his body and mind disease free. Thereafter, the perfect disciple is to wait for the grace of abstract the religious  union with the heart  patiently and in a state of contentment. He should not allow his mind to become restless under any circumstances. He should see to it that his mind is kept in a happy state. He should take a pledge to remain contented and keep up his perfect practice unabated and with enthusiasm and zeal. Getting seeded the religious  union with the heart  followed by self-realization of true religious knowledge of pure consciousness is definite to be attained after the perfect disciple perfects his seeded the religious  union with the heart , provided he follows the rules. It is only the time factor, which may vary from person to person. The time factor depends more on the disciple’s interest in yoga and the quantum of meditation practice that he puts in.

Some perfect disciples have greater inclination and zeal but they spend less time in their practice. There are other perfect disciples who have less inclination and zeal and interest but spend more time in yoga practice. Their yoga practice is also much more. The more intense the fervor, the more intense the enthusiasm, the more intense the determination and the more intense the regularity of the practice, the sooner will the perfect disciple attain self-realization of true consciousness. There is a relation between the level of fervor and the proximity of one’s desired goal. It is up to the perfect disciple to accelerate or delay the attainment of his goal of seeded the religious  union with the heart  and religious knowledge.
