Visoka = subjects which have interior peace ,  va = or , Jyotismati  = subjects which have interior light luminous.


  Translation  of thesis on interior light: -

By subjects which have  interior peace or subjects which have interior light also stabilize interior peace and interior light  in mind. /36/.

In this website page  ,Patanjali speaks about the fixation of thought  on subtle subject where interior peace and interior light that is free from sorrow is coming and glowing. The interior conscious feeling and experience and prolonging the perception generate interior peace and interior light of tranquil state of mind and make the mind free itself from obstacles of  yoga practice. When the  disciple fixes his attention  on a subtle subject of interior peace and interior light and gets absorbed in it, his individual mind starts becoming stable and glowing interior light and this also leads to the stabilization of the conscious mind. In addition to the five perceptions of subtle elements like smell, taste, color, touch and sound, the most subtle super perception which gives  interior peace and interior light that is free from sorrow and is refreshing also makes the individual mind happy and stable. 

This super perception cleanses the individual mind and makes it taint-free and guilt-free. This in turn leads to the stability of the individual mind. The individual mind reaches a state in which its obstacles and impediments get erased on their own. The radiance of the  interior light state, which is pain free directly, descends from the interior consciousness  into the outer conscious state of mind. This interior peace and interior light is different from the radiance of the outer matter sun or the moon and is coming from the opposite core  directions. Interior peace and interior light is the interior cosmic illumination and interior cosmic radiance. When such a interior cosmic illumination is felt and experienced consciously, the obstacles and impediments, which obstruct the path of  yoga , get erased by themselves. The conscious mind becomes free and liberated from all impurities, taints, defects, evils and impediments.

The Great Sage says that if during  yoga practice different types of unique illuminations of interior peace and interior light are experienced like having a glimpse of a cold sun, this indicates that interior consciousness  is showering his grace. Illuminations of interior peace and interior light also indicate that interior soul  is he rectifying the defects, shortcomings and obstacles of the individual mind. During this state it is felt that love of interior god  is pulling the disciple towards itself. The experience of having  interior light and illumination is extremely auspicious in the conscious mind.

The Soul’s bondage is due to the inflow of Karma in it. Interior light of Mahavira Jainism preached -Liberation is attained when desires for even virtuous Karma is absolutely got rid of. In this world, to have the birth of a human being and to meditate on the nature of the Soul is the greatest blessings.

 Mahavira Jainism meditated on the pure nature of the Consciousness. Interior light of Mahavira Jainism message of non-violence, truth, non-stealing, celibacy, and non-possession is full of universal compassion. Interior light of Mahavira Jainism advocated that a living body is not merely an integration of limbs and flesh but it is the abode of the absolute life that potentially has perfect perception of sense, perfect spiritual knowledge, perfect cosmic power and perfect bliss. Interior light of Mahavira Jainism was quite successful in eradicating from human intellect the conception of God as creator, protector, and destroyer. He also denounced the worship of gods and goddesses as a means of salvation. He taught the idea of supremacy of human life and stressed the importance of the positive attitude of life.  Interior light of Mahavira Jainism also preached the gospel of universal love, emphasizing that all living beings, irrespective of their size, shape, and form whether spiritually developed or under-developed, are equal and one should love and respect them. In the matters of religious advancement, as envisioned by Mahavir Jainism, both men and women are on an equal footing.
