Svapna nidra jnana alambanam va/38/.

Svapna = dream -thoughts of the sleep , nidra  = sleep , jnana =  knowledge of direct experience, alambanam  = is under or resting on   ,va = or.

Or one can eliminate the distractions from the conscience in the health of consciousness by the knowledge of a direct experiment which rests on the dream - thoughts of the sleep.   /38/

Insight vision on yoga thesis on dream -thoughts of the sleep 38 : - 

Recollecting and contemplating the  knowledge of a direct experiment which rests on the dream - thoughts of the sleep by practice of  waking state of mind during sleep can win obstacles and dispersion of mind. The conscience in the health of consciousness achieves stability when it has the support of the knowledge of a direct experiment which rests on the dream - thoughts of the sleep. When the conscience in the health of consciousness rests on thought attained from dream or sleep, it becomes stable. The  knowledge of a direct experiment which rests on the dream - thoughts of the sleep eradicate obstacles and impediments and dispersions of the mind. Such a  knowledge of direct experiment which rest on the dream during sleep makes the mind stable.

 Distractions of the mind can also get removed by analyzing the thought, which one may attain during dreams or during sleep. This is because such a  knowledge of a direct experiment which rests on the dream - thoughts of the sleep will lead to a better comprehension of the working of the mental process during sleep or during dreams. It is, however, not possible to have complete  knowledge of a direct experiment which rests on the dream - thoughts of the sleep about the dreams which come during sleep. Whatever the knowledge of a direct experiment which rests on the dream  one acquires about them, after awakening from sleep, is only marginal. The thought, which occurs during dream, is not a conscious thought. The mind of such a disciple thereafter, becomes stable. The mind also acquires the knowledge of a direct experiment  of its inner subtle un-alertness.
