In this yoga thesis, Patanjali, give summary of what is spiritual union of yoga and misconceptions about it. In first yoga thesis , it is mentioned that an idea about spiritual union of yoga on state of consciousness of an individual is to be discussed. In second yoga thesis , it is mentioned that withholding of the movements of the thought by an individual with conscience in his mental health is called his the spiritual union of Yoga with state of consciousness. In third yoga thesis, it is explained that the state of consciousness in the conscious mind , the visionary become conscious of the true reality of its individual. In this fourth yoga thesis, it is explained that while the state of consciousness is in unconscious mind , visionary do not become conscious of the true reality of its individual. What he vision, is merely perception of his thoughts. And his perception continued to change as per his thought knowledge, logic knowledge or religious knowledge. When an individual come to an end of the movements of the thought with conscience in conscious mind, it enters in the spiritual union of yoga. When an individual enters the the spiritual union of yoga, it is merely visionary having the pure state of consciousness in its conscious mind. At this moment , the state of consciousness of the conscious mind of the visionary become conscious of the true reality of its individual. Otherwise, the true reality of its individual fails to feel its pure state of consciousness in its conscious mind. Otherwise the true reality of its individual continue to consider the movements of its thought in unconscious mind like the pure state of consciousness in its conscious mind. in other case, the individual continue to identify the movements of its thought like the pure state of consciousness in its conscious mind. In other cases, the pure state of consciousness continues to be camouflaged in the movements of the thought in the unconscious mind.The pure state of consciousness in the conscious mind is always in the interior of the movements of the thought . Thus, the truth of pure state of consciousness in the conscious mind cannot be truly realized or experienced , until the individual behold the movements of the thought with conscience in conscious mind . Until, the individual become free from its thought knowledge , it is unable to realize or experience the truth of pure state of consciousness in its conscious mind. During the normal living stage of
individual , the forms of scattered movements of thought of the
unconscious mind become apparent,
noticeable and manifested themselves in the unconscious mind. These forms
are seen and felt by the unconscious mind’s thinking process. However, when
the conscious mind is working, in contrary to normal unconscious state of
mind of individual , it experiences only the inner formless true
knowledge of particular subject or object given by thinking essence of
unconscious mind that is outer part of conscious mind. In the conscious
mind, an individual experiences and feels only the formless inner nature
essence ,his inner mind, his inner thought, his inner self, his inner
essence. When the turbulence of thought keeps on diluting in the
unconscious mind, the individual is not able to experience the
individual ’s
infested formless pure knowledge of subject or object or inner
nature essence or
his inner mind or his inner thought or his inner self or his inner essence . During this time, his unconscious
conscious mind is crowded with a
multitude of thought that do not let him experience the formless and
shapeless of his inner nature and soul essence and his
inner conscious mind. conscious - 97 - 3.60% At such a time, the individual does not
feel even true thought of the inner subtle or matter elements of nature
essence in
form, as his unconscious mind is crowded with a host of thought. The
unconscious mind virtually is besieged by thought incapacitating the
individual to have a feeling of his inner nature essence or inner self
essence. His unconscious mind’s eye gets a glimpse of the vast expanse of
thought only along with
their subject matter forms. It does not get an insight vision of the
visionary and the viewer conscious mind of the thought. The spectacle on the screen of
this kind is no doubt there but it is the spectacle of his thought and not
the spectacle of the spectator who is looking at those thought. Other
than the subject matter of the thought, the individual does not experience
any thought about true state of consciousness in his conscious mind. He does not have self-concentration
of anything else. He does not think of anything else. Entangled in the
meshes of his thought, he loses the consciousness of even his individual
essence. He only remains aware of the thought passing through his unconscious
mind
of living being. What is a thought essence? Conscious mind of individual is endowed with the sense of right and wrong called conscience and state of consciousness in his concentration. It is the sense of conscience and state of consciousness and concentration, which makes him experience the state of consciousness of his individual and the consciousness of general individual entity. He experiences the consciousness of his own being according to the dictates of his conscious mind. As the conscious mind orders him, so does the individual follow its command? This is command of cosmic power working in the conscious mind. It is applicable to all living beings in universe. When individual fixes his unconscious mind on any matter object on any living being he experience outer form of matter object or living being. When individual fixes his conscious mind on any matter object on any living being he experience inner formless essence of matter object or living being or his inner self. The second cosmic essence is that at a given time it is possible to have fixed self-concentration of conscious mind only at one particular subject ,or on one state of unconscious or conscious state of mind ,or on one condition ,or of one situation. Further self-concentration of conscious mind enters the conscious mind and also goes out of it in matter world of outer universe through a single route of five sense organs of individual . Self-conscious that is outer part of inner state of consciousness of soul essence follows the same path as followed by alertness and concentration of conscious mind for its exit in matter world and re-entry into the inner conscious mind from outer matter world of endless forms. When self-concentration is carried out to inner of state of consciousness, the individual experience , the inner formless soul essence and inner formless nature essence which is center of the natural world. When self-concentration is carried out to unconscious mind , inner of state of consciousness become camouflaged in outer essence of thoughts in the brain.. In such situation, individual experience only the essence of thoughts about numerous things and forms of normal world. State of
consciousness of self in mind moves at such a great
speed and changes its directions and path so quickly and so speedily that it
appears it is moving in all sense organs at the same time. When an
individual is able to rid himself of these thought or is in a thought free
state, he experience the true formless of his true self-conscious, in his
deeper conscious mind that is
state of consciousness. This formless is apparent to him only
when the individual is empty of all else thought and imaginations and
craving of outer matter world in unconscious mind. When an individual fixes his
conscious mind on his own inner soul essence, he experiences the formless of
state of consciousness. He experiences the presence of the inner
state of consciousness that
is a visionary and carry out all cosmic power and spiritual knowledge of
soul essence. He
further experience that the form of his body has separated from his formless
conscious mind. All embodied inner nature essences and material things of
the universe appear as a smoke screen to him. In the formless inner
conscious mind of
state of consciousness, he
visions the formless worldly things and also insight vision of his true
inner soul essence. The false images of the changing phenomena drops from the
formless of his real
state of consciousness, which is not subject to destruction.
The inner
state of consciousness is indestructible. It is imperishable. The
individual
experience a retreat of his true self from which the material world and the
subtle endless forms and planetary have emerged. The oneness of spiritual
knowledge of the entire universe is experience by him. The formless of his
true
state of consciousness is experienced as outer end of inner
soul essence and inner God essence. When
state of consciousness
of an individual shifts from the conscious mind to the unconscious
mind, the endless thought of
unconscious mind, the medium of its body and channel of senses, experience
the object form he imagines as individual self-being or ”I”. He does not
separately experience the existence of his true state of
consciousness that don’t have
any “I”. Whatever thought occurs in his unconscious mind, it reflects
the imaginative form of the object ,individual imagines. When an
individual closes his eyes and shuts off other senses and
indulges in imaginary thinking, the thought experienced by him reflects the
thinking essence in his organs of action of matter body. When an individual
experience his self-concentration in the unconscious conscious mind, which is an abode
of his thought, he himself experience the feeling of egoism and senses of
mine ness that makes him feel that he is the doer. Really one does not
feel existence of formless nature or god essence and whatever he believes is
pure matter of faith under fear or habit. The Guru Patanjali speaks of two stands of thought in his discourse about the individual . In the first type, the formless of the inner soul essence is not seen by the perfect individual even though his conscious mind is an absolutely thought free state. This is because the inner soul essence have no formed and it cannot be carried out with any language of the human. At this time the perfect individual consciously become engaged in the imagination of matter objects of nature or material things in deeper conscious mind. Other people mistake the subject or object of its thought like inner soul essence or God essence. In the second type, the inner soul essence is the visionary. The object of vision cannot see the power of visionary. So the normal individual with his
thought knowledge
sees the false seed matter form of the object of nature as inner soul
essence. But the formless of the on looking inner soul essence is not
experienced. The formless of such inner soul essence is felt and experienced
through the formless of state of consciousness that is super conscious
mind of an individual. In the matter of eyes it is not possible to have a
glimpse of the inner and formless of the eyes and the outer form worldly
object at the same time. It is impossible. This is what the preceptor tells
the individual . How does concentration of state of
consciousness that is
attributes of conscious mind come in and how does it go out? What is the
incoming and outgoing route of concentration
of state of consciousness
in conscious mind? Concentration of state of
consciousness of an individual rests in the deep conscious
mind, which
is in formless mental state. An individual becomes thoughtless when concentration is fixed in state of
consciousness in mind. This makes unconscious
mind like withdrawn to inner conscious mind. An individual without thought becomes
free from the pains and sorrows of the matter world. He does not experience
static joys either. He feels both pleasure and pain of matter world are for
away from him. It is here that the two paths emerge, one for going out to
outer matter world and planets of universe and the other for going in
state of consciousness
and inner soul essence and God essence. Self-concentration of an individual takes
these paths to enter the individual ’s deep conscious mind as well to
outer matter world from conscious mind and both paths in opposite direction. One
of the paths passes through the inner soul essence and further leads to
inner God essence. The other path leads to unconscious mind thought and sense organs
of individual . That is why the spiritual leader
Patanjali says that it is necessary to have realization of feeling of
senses, conscious mind and
state of consciousness before inner God essence
realization and for realization of
state of consciousness it is essential that
state of consciousness and concentration of
conscious mind should be focused on the conscious mind and experienced. Nature’s true inner form, which is formless, can be
realized only when
state of consciousness of
conscious mind is focused on the conscious mind and a true formless
glimpse or insight vision of it is obtained. In view of this Patanjali deems
it essential to experience and realize spiritual knowledge of
conscious mind, which is a core part of formless nature
essence. Priority wise state of
consciousness and concentration in conscious
mind comes
first and is followed by nature realization, which further is followed by
spiritual knowledge about state of
consciousness and inner God essence. When
an individual dies his inner state of
consciousness keeps on resting
in the formless conscious mind of subtlest nature essence. Conscious
mind keeps on
consciously remembering the performance of its past deeds and duties while
it was in the embodied form and it becomes seed karma for subtlest nature
essence for molding his next physical life. In this subtle formless nature state, the
result-oriented karma seed actions neither increase nor dies or one get rid
of them. All individual has to pay for his deeds. It is not possible to escape the
cycle of karma actions and reactions .It is an inexorable law that all is
static in the formless world of subtlest nature essence where the inner
embodied soul essence rests after its release from the body of individual.
There is no possibility of a motion there. Without motion it is not possible
to get rid of the memory of past karma actions. And as per desire of the
state of consciousness in
inner conscious mind, subtlest nature essence gives a new living body
to the inner conscious mind so that it may reap the fruits of its
karma actions. The inner soul essence gets embodied; as per it’s past karma
actions in
state of consciousness of the
conscious mind. This new living body of an embodied
state of consciousness in inner conscious
mind is
known as the cosmic instrument. When the super conscious mind of
state of consciousness along
with an account of its karma actions gets a living body, the inner soul
essence at that time is called an embodied inner soul essence or
state of consciousness.
There are various state in the nature essence but in all matter elements,
subtle elements and subtlest nature essence flowing in endless one super
state of consciousness in one
conscious mind of endless living being of universe, there
is only one formless inner soul essence. Really body of a living being is
the matter ingredient of subtlest nature essence and
state of consciousness resides
in formless conscious mind and the living being is reborn in the matter form of
nature essence to reap the fruits of his past karma actions. Most of individual in the natural
resting posture of the body without thinking and contemplation of matter
world forms are engaged in completing the cycle of karma. Individual has
learnt the art of intelligence thought. As such instead of performing
actions in ease in present forms of moment, he keeps on remembering the
forms of imagination about the enjoyment of sensual pleasures and the
enjoyment of material world in the past. He also keeps on making elaborate
plans towards for the enjoyment of sensual pleasures and the enjoyment of
material world in the future. It is for this reason that individual remains
in the throes of pain and pleasures, agony and ecstasy in thought of
unconscious mind. The road and the path by which
state of consciousness enters the material world of nature are the
conscious mind
and the five scenes of the body. Thus the unconscious mind and the five
senses of the body constitute the route that state of consciousness follow to enter
the material world of nature essence. When
state of consciousness of
conscious mind is
focused on any subject or object, he begins to experience his self-sense of
individual living being or lack of spiritual knowledge of that subject and
object. At that time he does not experience the presence of either his
conscious mind
or his body. When an individual , by controlling his five senses starts
walking on the path leading to
state of consciousness, he become boss of his
unconscious mind and
state of consciousness
dare not leave his conscious mind. On becoming conscious of unconscious
mind, he experiences his body and
thought essence of unconscious mind.
State of consciousness of
an individual in a
deep Samadhi (Yoga ) makes his body and conscious mind static and soul
essence stops in his conscious mind. On emerging from Samadhi, he feels that
his conscious mind is separate from his body. Patanjali says
state of consciousness
rests in an individual ’s deep conscious mind. It can come and go out
of this deep conscious mind at one time through one route only. On the
other hand there are various and different ways for the inner soul essence
to vision the objects of unconscious mind.
State of consciousness
cannot be static in both deep conscious mind and matter body that is in motion at the same moment. Hence,
before state of
consciousness of conscious
mind enters the path of the inner conscious mind it has to be stopped from thinking about its subjects and objects of
form world as well body and the senses, which constitute matter world .The
whole path of conscious mind needs to be made static. How it is possible to have an insight
vision of a path to concentration or state of
consciousness of
conscious mind? The earth, the sun, the stars, the sky, the galaxies, and in
fact the entire form of universe, living and non-living, are all in globe
shape. Each is chained to its own nucleus. Each has its own primordial
basis. All animate and inanimate things are all in a static state at center.
Whatever motion is there and wherever that motion is, it is only external.
There are two facets of the entire universe – one is the internal smaller
formless shape, which is static that is nucleus state. The second is the
external form, which is in motion and has some kind of living or non-living
forms. The second is in an ever-changing state. Each moment the external
form of the universe and the external forms of the living and non-living,
are undergoing a change. The outer external changing shape is tied to the
basic internal unchanging shape. It keeps on changing the characteristics of
the basic internal subtle state. As such the outer shape, which keeps on
changing, is always adopting itself to the basic internal subtle state after
every change. The internal change in conscious mind that is subtle state is
the master. The external shape of body form is the servant. It is
mobile. The outer bigger shape by changing and recharging its form or shape,
keeps on go giving a new glimpse every moment. The internal shapeless
State of consciousness rejoice on repeatedly insight vision of new external
changed form with changed attributes of subtlest nature essence. |
