matter how wealthy he is, no matter how high a status he holds, no matter how

These attachments and aversions of his sense organs to forms of
things leads to the information of a whirlpool in which he gets engrossed and
continues to keep on getting engrossed.
What is a pain and stress provoking
movements of the thought in the fold five (5) in the neurons of brain ? If a disease attacks the body or a
part of the body, the body or the affected part becomes incapable of
performing its assigned functions. It feels fatigue or weakness and become
conscious of its burden. It becomes painful and distressing to feel these
bodily ailments in the unconscious state of the neurons of brain . Such a
feeling of pain and stress is felt alike by the thinking and non-thinking
persons. It is felt alike by the wise and the ignorant persons. This pain and stress is related to living human body and its ailments. This suffering is

The pain disappears as soon as the ailment of body gets cured. The agony of
the body disease and the resultant pain is experienced more in the body than
by the unconscious state of the neurons of brain .
A pain provoking movements of the

agony, which gives the illusion of pain in unconscious state of the neurons of
brain . It is not felt in any specific part of the body but emanates
from the unconscious state of the neurons of brain . It lasts as long as

and person keeps on thinking about it. A person with a healthy body also remains
a prey to such a distress provoking thought. Such a thought is similar to the

of a person who has intense aversion for a particulars thing. Whenever

Guru Patanjali calls halting the pain

brain consciously and by repeated
practice as meditation. Patanjali is silent on issues relating to the present
day-to-day real physical happening in life, or on issues relating to the
future real happiness. He is also silent on issues relating to the recitation
of God’s name, undergoing penance, going the temple, performing acts of
piety and charity, becoming a renunciation or taking to the forest forsaking
wealth and home or renouncing bad deeds, performing noble deeds or worshiping
a particulars deity. He does not discuss the pros and cans, merits and
demerits of a particulars faith or religion. Neither does he discuss which
religion person should adopt and why. His attention is primarily and directly
focused on the pain of person ’s life and their causes. It is also focused on
person ’s lack of spiritual knowledge and its causes.
He further focuses his attention on the
thought of unconscious state of the neurons of brain which blocks
person ’s path leading to realization of state of consciousness. He says that
meditation or spiritual union with state of consciousness is the halting
of such movements of the thought in the fold five (5) in the neurons of brain .
Patanjali speaks on what is possible by
capturing the movements of the thought in the fold five (5) in the neurons of
brain provoking process of
the pupil. He shows him the way to come closer to the inner soul essence or
state of consciousness by keeping away from the enjoyment of the pleasures of
the senses, away from craving temptations, attachments and aversions.
Enjoyment of the pleasures of the senses cravings, temptations, attachments
and aversions, plague the unconscious state of the neurons of brain of person and cause
pain , which in turn creates turbulence in a unconscious state of the neurons

and causes him further pain and stress. Once a person knows how to penetrate

serenity and attracts and pulls inwards the travelers by itself. On
reaching the gateway of the formless inner core nature essence in
conscious state of the neurons of brain , the ascetic or the perfect disciple does not
have to do anything. He is only to have a glimpse or insight vision of
whatever is happening there. In this way Patanjali imparts knowledge to
the disciple through his discussions.
What is to be done to stop the flow of

Stopping the flow of movements of the thought in the fold five (5) in the
neurons of brain does not mean abstaining from the
physical enjoyment of the sensual pleasures or not undergoing the result of
one's good and bad physical karma actions in natural world . It also
does not mean that person should abstain from earning money or from doing a job
or from running a business or from renouncing the natural world and worldly
powers and renouncing one's domestic life. It also does not mean that person should give up his interest and turn away from the natural tendencies
and inclinations of his brain , his hobbies, his habits of eating and
drinking and change his life style-be and become religious or non religious.
The person need not make any effort to forcibly relinquish physical attachments or
aversions towards any living being or thing and also natural inclination
towards worship of any religion or God form. The person may continue following that
inclination. Otherwise the person need not forcibly develop such an inclination. If
a person has a liking for the customs and traditions and the prevalent religious
and social mores, a person may continue to practice them. Patanjali liberate
the discipline from taking on any specific likes or dislikes or relinquishing
them
Patanjali says that a person’s likes and
dislikes are formulated by conscious state of the neurons of brain
as per his karma actions and deeds. As such and accepting them in its
conscious state of the neurons of brain , the person should enjoy them physically but
consciously. The gift of human life is not going to come again.
Patanjali, however, lays down one condition and that is that whatever a person may
do, a person should do it consciously and in a state of complete and full
concentration of sense organs and alertness of unconscious state of the
neurons of brain . The person should perform one's karma actions in a state of
complete self- alertness and according to the dictates of one's inner likes
and dislikes and not because they have been imposed upon him by any external
pressure of religion, society and social customs and traditions. The person is to
live according to the dictates of one’s conscious state of the neurons of
brain and feeling. The person is not to forcibly accept any external
information or logic knowledge as true and correct. The person is to live according
to the experience of one's life, feeling experience and self knowledge and not
go by information knowledge gleaned from other living being of the outside
natural world. One's self-concentration and alertness should be kept focused

in conscious state of the neurons of brain . Feeling of one's state of consciousness should also be kept focused
on feeling of one's soul and feeling of God.
The
