Through direct alertness beyond thought  of  simple mind  and direct observance of subliminal impressions in  control mind  , the perfect disciple acquires spiritual knowledge of his past lives. When the power to insight vision beyond thought images gets acquired, it is then that spiritual knowledge of previous incarnations becomes available to the perfect disciple. It is from the direct perception of the lingering past subliminal impressions brought about by the congregate of discipline on them that spiritual knowledge about previous births gets attained. 

It is by the practice of the threefold discipline of the inherent tendencies and by the direct perception of such tendencies that knowledge of previous existences arises. The Great Sage Patanjali says that the perfected sage of seeded spiritual union with feeling  in  control mind   becomes capable of stabilizing the practice of union  of insight vision , meditation and spiritual union with feeling  in  control mind   on spiritual knowledge of his past lives in another kind of life.

 When the perfect disciple reaches this state, his  control mind   becomes capable of attaining spiritual knowledge about living and non-living subjects and objects and their character by having union  of insight vision , meditation and spiritual union with feeling  in  control mind   in them. The previous step mentions about the attainment of spiritual knowledge of the past and future of any living and non-life form through the assistance of  natural  essence discipline. A mention is also made therein of the attainment of knowledge about the language of all life form through  natural  essence discipline. This part describes as to how a perfect disciple through  natural  essence discipline becomes aware of his own mind’s lingering past subliminal impressions which remain in seed subliminal impressions and keep on manifesting as pure waves of the natural bent of his mind and disposition. This step also describes as to how spiritual knowledge about previous incarnations gets obtained by the perfect disciple.

Human being’s mind is a product of natural.  natural  essence of mind is not only subject to transformations but is also developing as action bound and action oriented in accordance with the cosmic laws. Hence, human being’s mind is functioning and performing actions in accordance with the spiritual knowledge of  natural  essence technique. Each action is subject to transformation at its elementary stage as per the fruit of action. An action results in the fruit of action. Cosmic law says that the fruit of action is the seed, which on account of the action develops on a definite path. The fruits of action which have got developed and which have been converted into the form of seed and karma subliminal impressions, result in further actions.

 natural  essence, according to a definite action plan, transform the kind of bodies, life span and place of a life form in accordance with these developed lingering past subliminal impressions. This is because different human minds have different types of deluded knowledge and thought process and in it desires for matter world. Further, different human minds have different levels of self-sense of self- ego, affections, attachments, hatred and enmity. It is for this reason that different views and different cravings of action appear amongst different individuals. All these show and manifest the path of lingering past subliminal impressions. It is on this account that the disparity among life form and disparity among  natural  and gross senses and disparity among kinds of bodies and life spans and Places, appears and gets manifested. 

The lingering past subliminal impressions which a human being adopts at the moment of the present time and which he is destined to undergo during his present lifetime is the result of the fruit of his previous incarnations, its kind and result of fruit of actions and his place in the universe. The perfect disciple through  natural  essence discipline in his own lingering past subliminal impressions and on account of them attains spiritual knowledge of his previous births and of the types of his body that he enjoyed in his previous incarnations. It is through the prolonged and sustained practice of  natural  essence discipline that he becomes knowledgeable and learned about his previous incarnations.

The Great Guru says that limitless living and non-life form has adopted by the system of action of natural essence. It is subject to transformations and keeps on developing from moment to moment. The life form is the master of the non-life form. Manifestation and non-manifestation of the character and powers and modes of non-living essence is different from the path of the powers of action of the living essence and its character and modes. The universe is of one  natural  essence on the inside. On the outside there is limitless and unending diversity. As such, spiritual knowledge of the transformations of the limitless living and non-life form, spiritual knowledge of its form, character and modes and spiritual knowledge of its stability is non-dual one. The external or outer diverse lack of spiritual knowledge has been adopted by diverse living and non-life form on there own internal true spiritual knowledge.

The ignorant life form enjoy the outer deluded lack of spiritual knowledge of natural. The learned scientist enjoys the argumentative knowledge of natural and its diverse things and life form in the action oriented or action bound lingering past subliminal impressions. He produces the fruit of action in his thought  due to his attachment, hatred and enmity, fear and cravings. This paves the way for his future incarnation. The perfected sage of seeded spiritual union with feeling  in  control mind   through  natural  essence discipline enjoys his lingering past subliminal impressions in a fruit free state by becoming aware of the true spiritual knowledge of  natural  essence and by becoming thought free and craving free.

 He destroys the seed of the definite path of action. He becomes aware of the release and salvation from the cycle of life and death. The perfect disciple during seeded spiritual union with feeling  in  control mind   and through the  natural  essence discipline of his lingering past subliminal impressions in his mind consciously attains spiritual knowledge of the path of their earlier action in his previous incarnations.

The Great Guru says that the innumerable powers of  natural  essence and remaining karma subliminal impressions and their fruits are eternal. Nothing ever gets destroyed. All that happens is that a manifested form becomes subliminal impressions. Preparatory action turns into non-preparatory action. On the path of a life form his gross and  natural  sense of body do not get destroyed, but enter into a very  natural  and  natural  essence state out of which it had developed. Thereafter, it transforms its form and becomes undeveloped in another kind of incarnation.

 The thought  of innumerable subjects and objects along with character of fruits of action contained in these thought  keep on hovering on the  control mind   of the feeling  of soul in the precluding state. However, due to death an individual becomes incapable of implementing these thought  and enjoy their cravings. It is for the enjoyment of these cravings through a definite law of result oriented action that  natural  essence of  control mind   itself creates diverse lingering past subliminal impressions which are result oriented on the mind of the diverse kinds of bodies. This is the cycle of life and death. The perfect disciple on the cultivation disciplining and perfection of seeded spiritual union with feeling  in  control mind   and through  natural  essence discipline of lingering past subliminal impressions in the  control mind   can attain spiritual knowledge about this aspect in all its awareness. He can experience his own previous incarnation.

The Great Guru says that there are innumerable subjects of  natural  essence spiritual knowledge and character. The perfect disciple attains spiritual knowledge about these turn by turn on the cultivation of his seeded spiritual union with feeling  in  control mind  . He also attains spiritual knowledge about them through the practice of the discipline of union  of insight vision , meditation and spiritual union with feeling  in  control mind  . Spiritual Knowledge about  natural  essence is not the final goal in the practice of yoga. Hence, a perfect disciple should not destroy his practiced perfect power too much in the pursuit of spiritual knowledge about  natural  essence. Secondly, Natural’s knowledge, which the perfect disciple has developed through  natural  essence discipline, becomes an obstacle in the elimination of self-sense of self- ego from the perfect disciple’s  control mind  . 

 Hence, the perfect disciple is not to misuse his spiritual knowledge of  natural  essence. He is also not to exhibit his spiritual knowledge about natural. Most magicians and miracle creating saints are wayward and stranded perfect disciples. A perfect disciple should not have consciously become a prey to deluded spiritual knowledge. Their future incarnations are destined to be restless and demonic. They are destined to born in the shape of demon. The Great Sage says that through the technique of  natural  essence discipline it is possible for the perfect disciple himself to have knowledge about his previous incarnations.

The perfect disciple is to awaken, through  natural  essence discipline, his spiritual knowledge about Natural’s diverse and innumerable powers and character. Lack of spiritual knowledge about this spiritual knowledge is a hindrance in the perfect disciple’s disciplined cultivation. In the original perfect state the perfect disciple by reforming the quality of the craving for subjects and objects, pacifies his restlessness. Thereafter, he converts and transforms himself into the thought of merit. He creates and produces a resolve in his  control mind   for adopting non-violence. He uses the innumerable powers of  natural  essence for the welfare of other life form. This is because in the original disciplined cultivation of yoga, it is a great help to have a thought free, intellect free and craving free mind. It is in the path of the mind that thought in cravings getting converted into lingering past subliminal impressions or latent impressions. Release from them is got through the undergoing and performance of actions. Without the performance of action, there is no release from the cycle of life and death.

The Great Guru says that the perfect disciple who is interested in the awakening of the essence of  natural  should do so by awakening this interest in  control mind   and by performance of his actions for the welfare of the people. He should not be possessed of self-sense of self- ego in the awakening of this interest or in the performance of action for the general welfare. The spiritual knowledge of any power of Natural’s essence is not an obstacle in the goal itself.

 The obstacle consists in misusing such an acquired cosmic power unconsciously and for getting worldly pleasure and for hankering to attain the seat of a saint. The perfect disciple in the last stage of yoga is to consciously keep his self-sense of self- ego under his control all the more. The performance of actions of the left over remaining past subliminal impressions are to be undertaken on making them seedless and for the welfare of other life form but in obedience to God’s will.
