The Yoga expert Patanjali says that when the air gets inhaled and exhaled through the medium of breath, the breath from the lungs enters all limbs and cells of matter elements in the body in form of five matter energies. Different matter energy  of breath perform different functions in matter body and intake breath energy is called PRANA, out breath energy is called VYANA, stilled moments energy of breath in between Prana and vyana is called APANA, breath energy that control earth, water and air elements of natural in body and that control gravitational force to earth in matter body is called UDANA and breath energy that control fire and light elements of natural in matter body and that have gravitational force to sun planet in matter body is called SAMANA. In this step samana matter energy of breath that works to control the gravitation force of fire and light elements of natural in matter body is discussed.  

The Yoga expert Patanjali says that the breath energy that control fire and light elements of natural in matter body called samana, functions in the lower parts of the body viz. the stool tract or the rectum, the urinary tract or urethra and the kidneys. This samana breath power does not allow the flow and passing of stool and urine to rise upwards. Neither does it allow the flow and passing of seminal fluids in the reproduction tract to rise upwards in the matter body. It keeps on keeping the flow of these fluids downwards like the flames of fire. The samana breath power separates the necessary matter energy and secretions from the food and burns out of the rest of the impurities. Thereafter, the samana breath power throws these impurities out of the matter body. The samana breath power bestows on the body  a disease free force. It throws the impurities out of the body. The result is that the body gets the sparkle and glint as a result of the functioning of the samana breath power in the matter body. It is for this reason that the perfected sage of seeded spiritual unity with self-conscious in  interior mind  has a radiant and sparkling countenance irrespective of his being advanced in years or irrespective of his old age.

The Yoga expert Patanjali says that a detailed mention has been made from step 37 to step 47 about the  natural  spiritual energy of  natural  energy which a Yoga expert by union  of insight vision , meditation and spiritual unity with feeling  in  interior mind  may acquire. The Yoga expert Patanjali says that the attainment and adoption of these spiritual energy are not necessary for the adoption and attainment of perfect seeded or seedless spiritual unity with feeling  in  interior mind  or life form which is the yoga teacher’s ultimate goal. On the contrary, awakening this spiritual energy of  natural  energy and adopting them tend to prove distressful during the last stage of the yoga teacher’s seeded spiritual unity with feeling  in  interior mind . A Yoga expert who tries to attain these powers through the threefold interior discipline does so on account of his craving and karma to attain these powers.

Such a craving for the attainment of this spiritual energy springs in the yoga teacher’s heart at the beginning of the commencement of the perfect practices. These cravings arise in the disciple’s heart on account of his lingering past subliminal impressions and prove to be obstacles in the attainment of seedless spiritual union. A Yoga expert whose aim is salvation, however, remains craving free even after he awakens these matter energy. A disciple in order to gain worldly pleasures and comforts and worldly praise and in order to earn respect and reverence and to attain the status of a sage or a saint or a holy enlightened man, exhibits his awakened powers. He shows all these awakened powers in the form of a god or goddess. 

The exhibition and the very use of these matter energy, however, prove an obstacle in the yoga teacher’s path of seedless spiritual unity with self-conscious in  interior mind  or life form or knowledge of the soul. A Yoga expert who misuses these  natural  spiritual energy magnifies his self-sense of self- ego and reinforces his egoism. Thereafter, these very  natural  spiritual energy start flowing through the disciple in a demonical form. In this manner the misuses of these awakened spiritual energy can become a means of destroying the yoga teacher’s entire disciplined cultivation. Thus misuse of the awakened spiritual energy can result in playing havoc with the yoga teacher’s lifetime disciplined practice of yoga.

It is said that both Lord Rama and Yoga expert  Ravana were yoga expert of seeded spiritual unity with feeling  in  interior mind . Both of them were also in the beginning stage of the seedless spiritual unity with feeling  in  interior mind . Because of this reason both possessed unlimited spiritual energy of the  natural  energy of natural. More than Lord Rama, Yoga expert  Ravana possessed spiritual energy of  natural  energy. But Yoga expert  Ravana had awakened the spiritual energy of most of the matter elements. His misfortune was that without cultivation, disciplining and perfecting all the five reasons and causes of life that are lack of spiritual knowledge, self-sense of self- ego, attachment, hatred and enmity and fear of death, he had attained these spiritual energy by awakening the  natural  Natural energy.

 It is for that very reason that he unconsciously became a prey to those very matter energy, which he had attained himself. Hence, those very spiritual energy by taking a demonical form in Yoga expert  Ravana threw him into a life of sin. Lord Rama did not defeat or defeat Yoga expert  Ravana. It was Yoga expert  Ravana’s own awakened spiritual energy which destroyed him due to his own lack of spiritual knowledge. Lord Rama had attained spiritual energy of  natural  energy that he consciously focused for the welfare of society  and remained craving free in order to attain gain entry into seedless spiritual unity with feeling  in  interior mind  , life form and spiritual knowledge of the soul.
